Flatcap

Old Jacket and Shorts, Shona Joy Top and Bow-Collar, Tristan Blair Shoes,  Flatcap from Portobello Markets
With all the hype going on with the Olympics, I dedicate this post to London.
I have a plan to wear an outfit correlating with the actual sports aspect soon but this outift from last week reminds me alot about this fabulous historic city.
I was over there a few years ago and what can I say, I completely fell head over heels in love with London. It caught be my surprise actually, as I didn't know what to expect from a seemingly ageing old town.
How utterly wrong I was. Ye Ol' London town is brimming with established and fresh talent in just about every field there is, starting from the arts, music, nightlife, culinary delights and need I say more about the brilliant British designers!
Not only are they extremely gifted but what really sucked me into the nature of the English Capital is the sheer dedication and passion that they all seem to exude towards their work. It's really hard not to get sucked into all that excitement and be inspired to get your motivation wheels churning.
Merely uttering a few sentences about it makes me feel sick with nostalgia and homesickness towards a city that I was in for only a few months. This flatcap is one that I picked out for my Al at the gorgeous Portobello Markets in Notting Hill. A little stroll down this crazy hippy street with their famous falafel wrap from a street stall run by cute russian ladies is all I ask!
Miss you London xx

  1. amazing outfits!!
thank you for commenting on my blog! Regarding to your question about camera. I am using Pentax K-r with the lens that came along in the package. Nothing particularly special about the lens, really! But K-r has lots of color filters built in so i played around with that when i take pics! Also, i use "photobucket" online. Just in case you don't know about it, you can register for free! Hope you'll find this useful! :)

i really love your outfits!! and your selection of jewels is just way too cool! love it!! :D
