I’ve been a bit delayed in posting these
past few days and so I have a backed-up schedule in doing these outfit posts!
I’ll try to be a bit more consistent in the future, I promise.
So, this is what I wore on the Queen’s
Birthday public holiday where again, we had shit weather -all dark and gloomy,
not giving me the chance to wear other things I had in mind. Grr..
In saying that though, I do love the colder
seasons, probably because we never really get a’ true winter’ here in
Queensland. A cold day makes me excited about trying to coordinate a certain
look with different layers and hopefully a coat to top it off. I’ve bought so
many Jackets and Coats over the years without ever being able to wear a lot of
them, as quite frankly, it looks kind of silly when the Sun is shining and the
day is still quite warm and you just end up carrying an extra heavy weight
around all day.
But this day was pretty chilly and wet,
making me decide on rain-protective gear such as closed-in combat boots and restricting
the leather to just the bag. Enjoyed the day with some hot tasty ramen and a soothing
muscovado hot milk tea (how cute is the cup with the candle?) with a very
handsome young man ;)
